Marketing Assistant

As we continue to grow, we are searching for an enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to join us at our Head Office in Southend-on-Sea.

The Person

You will be a people person aligned to the Gateway brand. You will be a great communicator with a track record of delivering the best client and customer experience possible. Promoting the brand and creating new opportunities will come as second nature to you.

The Job

Contributing towards the overall creative process, from brief to delivery
Overseeing our social media output, creating engaging, relevant content in advance as well as managing our social media accounts
Spearheading our events calendar confidently, taking the lead on the preparation and execution of the set up and marketing materials for each event we host/attend
Ensuring all marketing collateral is correctly branded to company guidelines
Video editing informative company videos for internal and external purposes
Continual quality control of the company’s websites
Providing SEO support for the team as required
Preparing and organising weekly marketing mailers
Developing fresh ideas for the company’s marketing strategy
Supporting other departments with their marketing enquiries
Weekly reporting on the company’s current marketing campaigns
Travel to other offices (infrequent, but necessary as required)
Other ad-hoc administrative duties, as required

The perfect candidate:

Is passionate and creative, with a real interest in marketing
Is well-versed with creative applications (e.g. Adobe CC) but can also quickly adapt to unfamiliar software
Has a creative eye with the confidence to put your ideas forward
Writes excellent copy with a clear message, whilst staying on-brand
Fosters a strong can-do attitude, with the ability to work independently as required
Possesses excellent written and verbal skills
Is highly motivated and is able to use their initiative

What You Need

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in marketing (property experience is a bonus)
A full, clean driving license

Job location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: Competitive with an annual review
Annual leave: 23 days plus bank holidays
