Credit Control Assistant
As we continue to grow, we are searching for enthusiastic and motivated individuals ready to start a rewarding career with us as a Credit Control Assistant at our office in Southend-on-Sea.
The Person
The successful candidate can demonstrate excellent client communication skills, have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, possess strong administrative skills, an ability to work to strict deadlines and handle a large and varied caseload.
The Job
Your responsibilities would include, but would not be limited to:
- Liaising with debtors & mortgage companies
- Liaising directly with the tenants
- Processing Letter Before Action’s
- Chasing Housing Associations for overdue invoices
- Carrying out Land Registry searches
- Running weekly reports
- Carry out an arrears report twice a month
- Monitoring payment plan diaries
- Updating debtor accounts using our in-house system
- Daily banking
- Issuing reminder letters

- The ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required
- Have a high level of attention to detail
- The ability to exercise confidentiality and discretion at all times
What you need:
- Previous credit control experience (preferred)
- Previous property management knowledge (desirable)
- Confident working with Microsoft Office application
Job location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: Competitive with an annual review
Annual leave: 23 days plus bank holidays
