Maintenance Operative
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Operative to carry out general maintenance and repairs across residential developments in the South East, including London. This role involves a variety of tasks to ensure our properties remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting minor electrical repairs (e.g., changing light fittings, replacing sockets)
 - Basic plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks and unblocking drains
 - General carpentry, including repairing doors, locks, and skirting boards
 - Painting and decorating communal areas as needed
 - Basic plastering and filling cracks or holes in walls
 - Carrying out general repairs and upkeep of the buildings
 - Assist with Fire Door inspections, conducting assessments and generating reports
 - Inspecting and troubleshooting maintenance issues proactively
 - Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with health and safety guidelines

 - Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual tasks
 - Full, clean driving licence (essential for the role)
 
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience in maintenance, handyman work, or a similar role (preferred)
 - Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs
 - Driving Licence: Required

Job Location: On the road
Hours: 42.5 hours per week, worked across five days within a seven-day period. 
Annual leave: 20 days plus bank holidays
