You will be a champion of high standards in client management, property oversight, and operational excellence. This role requires a commitment to exceptional customer service and a thorough understanding of leasehold management.

Key responsibilities include:

Delivering excellent customer service to clients and residents.
Managing relationships with contractors and on-site staff to ensure efficient operations.
Conducting weekly Health and Safety site visits to maintain site safety and compliance.
Overseeing and managing M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) systems with knowledge and precision.
Taking utility readings monthly as part of regular site audits.
Utilising emergency management skills to address urgent issues promptly.
Performing commercial management functions (desirable).
Maintaining high organisational standards to prioritise tasks and manage responsibilities effectively.

Experience

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Block Property Management.
Proven customer service skills and ability to manage on-site teams effectively.
Familiarity with M&E systems and site audit requirements.
Strong knowledge of the Fire Safety Act, particularly for high-rise buildings.

Licence/Certification

A full, valid driver’s license
TPI or equivalent qualification (preferred).

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our busy Corporate Accounts Team at our Head Office in Southend-on-Sea, Essex.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing monthly Management Accounts and Management information for Group Companies and report to the Chief Financial Officer. They will contribute to organisational improvement by gathering and analysing data, preparing reports, reviewing company performance and KPIs against targets and recommending process improvements throughout the reporting process. They must be comfortable with handling and organising large sets of data to assist in the development of high-quality information reports and be able to convert data into meaningful management information. Ideally ACA qualified but most hold full ACCA or CIMA qualification to be considered. Experience of using SAGE50 is preferred.

As a Trainee Property Manager at Gateway, you will be guided by some of the most seasoned and experienced industry professionals around on your property management journey.

You may be required to attend evening meetings off-site and the occasional overnight stay. In return, we offer a competitive salary.

Your responsibilities will include and not limited to:

Proactive management of a varied portfolio of properties
Assistance with Service Charge budget and accounts preparations
Handling day-to-day maintenance queries from customers and clients
Regular client and customer liaison

We want someone who takes pride in their consistently high standard of work. A proactive person by nature with an exceptional eye for the little details, the successful candidate will be reliable, conscientious and always looks to exceed a client’s expectations.
