We are delighted to announce that our property management services have commenced on a variety of developments across the country.

Our followers were the first to know that Gateway has won business in all corners of the country in recent weeks, including a 380-home development in York, a luxury apartment block in the Victorian spa town of Harrogate, and an idyllic new community of contemporary homes in Buckinghamshire!

From historic to coastal, we have an eclectic range of properties that we’ve showcased on our Instagram account in the past few weeks. Here’s a roundup:

Gloucestershire: A thriving community

Recently, we took on the management of the first stage of a major development in Gloucestershire. Upon completion, the project will have expanded to an impressive 725 homes from its initial 276. We can’t wait to apply our services to this expanding rural community.

Bishop’s Stortford: Surrounded by nature

In Bishop’s Stortford, our presence has expanded further by commencing our services on a new development of ninety-three recently constructed homes. This new community, tucked away in a charming neighbourhood, offers its residents a tranquil lifestyle surrounded by incredible views.

Our foothold in Kent continues to gain ground

We’re proud to announce we have now taken instruction from a new development in Faversham, Kent, offering 127 properties with our full-service property management and in-house amenities. Iron Wharf Boat Yard is only eight minutes’ drive away, and Oare Country Park and Stonebridge Pond are also close by.

Here at Gateway, we never want to miss out the opportunity to showcase our wonderful portfolio of properties. Follow us on Instagram to discover more!

What does a general election mean for your sale? We explore the political impact on the UK housing market

The announcement of an upcoming UK general election has caught many by surprise.

On 4th July 2024, the British public will take to the polling stations to vote for their political party of choice. For some industries, general elections can bring a sense of uncertainty. Will the housing market be impacted by the news?

As Zoopla reports, the election announcement is likely to stall the pace at which new sales are being agreed to in the coming weeks.

Most buyers who are close to completing on a house will ideally want to push through and agree a sale now. Those who are earlier in the process may look to delay decisions until the autumn after the election is over.

Is this simply a short-term concern or are the effects wider reaching? Read on to find out more.
